Privacy Policy
TL;DR: Your data never leaves your browser. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.
How SafeTools Works
Every tool on SafeTools.dev processes data entirely within your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you paste text, upload a file, or use any tool, your data stays on your device. No data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.
Technical Verification
We don't just claim privacy — we prove it technically:
- Content Security Policy (CSP): Our HTTP headers include
connect-src 'self', which instructs your browser to block any outbound network requests to external servers. - No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any tracking service.
- No cookies: We do not set any cookies. Theme preferences are stored in localStorage only.
- Verify yourself: Open your browser's DevTools (F12), go to the Network tab, and use any tool. You'll see zero requests to external servers.
What We Don't Collect
- Your input data (JSON, code, text, files)
- Personal information
- IP addresses
- Browser fingerprints
- Usage analytics
- Cookies or tracking data
Local Storage
We use browser localStorage solely to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode). This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
SafeTools.dev is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, timestamps) as part of their CDN infrastructure. We have no access to this data and do not request it. No other third-party services are used.
Changes
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page. Our core commitment — your data never leaves your browser — will never change.
