Diff Checker
Compare two texts and see differences. All processing happens in your browser.
What is Diff Checker?
Diff Checker compares two pieces of text and highlights the differences at character, word, or line level. It offers both split (side-by-side) and unified views, making it easy to spot exactly what changed between two versions of a file, configuration, or document.
How to Use
- Paste the original text into the left editor panel
- Paste the modified text into the right editor panel
- Choose your preferred diff mode (character, word, or line) and view style (split or unified)
Use Cases
- Comparing two versions of source code to review changes before committing
- Reviewing configuration file changes across environments (staging vs. production)
- Checking document revisions to see what an editor or collaborator modified
- Debugging unexpected output by comparing expected vs. actual results
